Can africans get it like mollies? Mine Tend to SCRATCH from the bottom, ???? I have heard that they do this, but I am not sure its normal ????

It 46 Bow, PH is good! Salt YES, Maintain Water 2 to 3 weeks???

Also, if the tails are chopped do they ever grow back???? For a long time all appeared well?????

About the tails, it could either be fin/tail rot or being nibbled by another dominant tank inhabitant. And they will grow back but if it is Fin/Tail rot it needs to be treated.
