To my knowledge... There are no Cichlid clubs in Florida. There are alot of hobbyists just no active clubs. I have ran it across some aol members I know but nothing yet. If we decide to start a club I will let everyone on the borads know. To much discussion and not enough action for me! I'm all for starting a cichlid club!:dance:

I am suprised with all of the fish breeders and interest down here that some of the bigger cities don't have clubs.

Maybe some of the local aquarium clubs have cichlid specialty groups. Such as the Tampa Bay Aquarium Society or the South Florida Aquarium Society.

there is a club in miami but its the biggest p.o.s.its called the gold coast aquarium society.these guys have a forum thats empty and nobody knows sqwuak about any fish.they go to lakes and canals and net out their fish.and for some reason every damn member(out of the 12)has the power to ban you from their forum.these guys are just bored.we need a real aquarium society here in sfl.i wanna trade fish and buy fish just like reggie lol.but neways check out these guys over at the gold coast aquarium sciety,see how you like it.boring!!!!!!lol.if i knoew how to i would make a group myself.
