First I saw the little lines in the algae. Then I noticed the little worms squigling in the tank. I treated the tank broke it down. Now the works turned to white flies. I wrapped my tank on the top with plastic so they don't get out....my girlfriend is gonna throw me and the fish out.

thanks

I've had african cichlids since i was 13 years old and have never seen this either. I've looked all over the net for info on these flies and no luck....i can't believe i have flies.

did you bring in any plants from a pond? were you feeding any live foods. they could have hitched a ride. do they skip on the surface...if so, they might be springtails=fishfood.
