venustus not breeding

i got some venustus females and there looking like they are going to breed but they never do.

The do that spining thing where the female drops the egg and male fertilises it. But no egg. All but one female has been doing it for over a week and just now the last females doing it to. is this normal to not be producing eggs.

Beautiful fish :) ,
something to consider is are they of maturity age? Have any of your fish in your tank bred?
Are there any possibilities that they are producing eggs but later when your not around?

yes two of the four females have breed and the one of the two that didn't breed is the biggest and the other one is about the size of the smallest one.
