Disolving Cichlid Salt???

Do i have to dissolve my cichlid salt before adding to my tank? The box dose not specify.. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I would mix it first. It will keep the fish from trying to eat it and I've been told in the past that it can cause some injury to the fish. I've never tried it out so I don't know for sure if that's true.
