Feeding my Oscar frozen food...i was wondering....

Those frozen packages (i.e. beefheart, etc) that we can get from Local petshop, how do I feed them to my oscar?

I mean, putting myself in my oscar's shoes, no matter how good my food taste, having to swallow it COLD like an ice cube isn't very enjoyable..

They are definitely big enough to swallow the whole frzoen cube in one bit, but is this not good for them, i mean, a frozen beefheart cube Swallow into their stomach???just imagine the freezeeeee...

any ideas???

My brother likes to microwave them for about 2-4 seconds, and by then its not frozen.

Yeah, always thaw the food for them. It's bad for them to swallow the whole frozen food. I have a cup I keep by the tank that I fill with aquarium water and let it thaw in that for a bit. Also, I heard that if you heat it or use hot water that you might lose some of the vitamins in the food.

Can you just imagine the brain freeze??? Aghhhh!!!!
