Pool supply stores sell pool filter sand. It looks pretty good and doesn't cloud much. I've got it in my 75g Malawi.

cool yeah thanx the only place i can find is ony open weekdays. how much does it run i need bout 200 lb's

I think I paid about $7-$8 per 50# bag. I only used two in my 75g for around 3" average depth.

try a sandblasting company--or brick company. The ones in my area carry a variety of sand in different grit sizes and shades from white/grey to beige/brown. Cost for 100 lbs runs $7 to $11. Can't beat it.
