Not for long.
A 20 would only be suitable for dwarf cichlids or shell dwellers for life. A firemouth is neither of those things. While it is most common for them to get to about 4 - 5" I have seen them as big as 7"

she's right but they're slow growers and you could keep them almost for a long time ,there.
but you should decide ...if you can't give them a better home(in future)it 's better to forget them and work on dwarfs.
