It looks pretty slick. Are the rocks just sitting on top of the sand or they resting on the bottom with the sand filled in around them?
dmiles7

They are sitting on the sand which is covering egg crate.
Jonah...once again I appreciate all the times you responded to some of my annoying questions.....
I am really going to enjoy this tank...it seems like the fish that I put in it like it also.
I went to Armkes in New Braunfels, TX today and purschaed them...they are a great store and provided me with a ton of help...

I just wanted to make sure your new fish can't dig under the rocks to the point that they can topple over against the glass. It's really looking good though.

I got so lucky with those rocks....the one in the middle sits on the egg crate with 2 contact points that are flat...so no wobble at all...very level......the 2 end rocks sit flush on the bottom
You can't beat 15 cents per pound from the landscaping place when the LFS want $1.99 per pound....
My wife is a flight attendant with American Airlines...she has been gone for 2 days and she will be suprised when she gets home....I have stressed her out for the last 2 weeks over this tank....she is going to really like it though.

Good deal on the rocks. I did the same thing for my aquarium, but your rocks look much nicer.

I used to love being near Lima, OH. You could get just about any stone you wanted there, and it just so happens that it's one of the largest limestone quarries in the world, so if you need a higher pH.....................lol

Treating me well...not sure what your job or AFSC is but mine is OK. Just hit 19 years so I will be sticking it out...Suppose to be here at this assignment until Oct 06 and then we will see what happens. Overall my wife and I like San Antonio and Texas. She is from Wichita Falls so this is close to home for her.
How about you

What exactly do you mean by egg crate? My tank has a very similar rock set-up and the fish do dig under and cause them to lean over and fall.
