Please describe it further. It could be any number of things.

Sone looked like ICk...One was REALLY bad almost no coilor! ??? Ijust did a partial water cahnge ., prior to all of this it seemed there was alot of fighting., also, onece in a while the would scratch off ornaments., yet some said chiclids would do this???

Some scratching is normal for territorial reasons with some cichlids, but scratching by everyone a lot fo the time can mean trouble. If the color on your cichlids has simply faded, it could just be that they're stressed out. Fish will vary in the strength of their coloration based upon their stress levels.

Again, I ask you to describe the white. Is it little pinhead spots? Is it puffy spots? Is it a whitish coating all over? etc.
