mysery male in breeding dress

I can seem to find out anything on this guy. When I bought him as a juvinile he had a dark blue body, almost purple with yellow fins. the female has same coloration. Is he just a mutt fish?

Nkhata bay type Acei I think. The picture doesn't capture their potential color though. I have a nice big 5" male, one of my favs.

thanks, I looked up the pics of the Acei and mine does have that green iredecent color to his dorsal, that pic of mine doesnt do him justice, hes about 5 inches also.
