Maybe a Bumblebee (Maylandia crabro or Pseudotropheus crabro?) from Lake Malawi. They're both the same fish, but I can't remember the proper name for them. Do a google image search to compare them.

that's very cool. my male johanni is awesome and i've wanted to breed him for a while..

It's body seems kind of deep to me for a Mel.

For that matter, without knowing the length of the fish, how can you tell it's a female? Aren't both sexes the same color as juveniles?:confused:
