Does anyone have an opinion on which plecostomus clean aquarium walls the best?

none
u cant rely on a placo to do muck of anything on the glass they will clean drift wood realy well... and some rocks
i would go with a small type, clown plec, bristl nose, ect

rubber lipped plecs are the best!! theyre crackheads for algae :D :D :D :D
