convict/pictus cat help

have a 29 gallon tank with a aqua tech 20-40,penguin 660 power head with prefilter, and a magnum 350 canister filter with a bio pro 60.

how many convict pairs could i have? how many pictus cats could i have in with them??

I would say you would be better off with one pair of cons and 3-4 pictus cats. With lots of hiding spots for the pictus cats for when all hell breaks lose and they breed.

Alternatively you could have 2 pairs if it is a 3 foot tank and a pair of pictus cats.

It all depends what the dimensions of the tank are.

Rudy is right. And you may want to buy 6-7 convicts, let them grow up together, and then take some back as they grow when they start couseing trouble.
