What are the pros & cons to ordering fish through the mail :?:

Can I please get some suggestions of where to order if I decide to.

Thank you, I had already checked the forums. Location isn't an issue, it's quality that I'm interested in with price second. I have two 55 gallon tanks in addition to other small stuff around the house that most people on this forum scoff at. ie: 1 - gallon plastic tank with a pretty beta in my kitchen next to our hermit crabs and a bowl that keeps whatever I see that I like until I figure out exactly where I want it or want it in.

Anywho, any websites that you suggest?

Thanks,
Amy

Just kidding, I think most of us have something similar, we just don't talk about the non-cichlid stuff much. I have a couple of Betta splendins myself and I'm breeding guppies too and I've got a couple of hermit crabs in my reef tank.

Back to your question, I didn't mail order fish from this guy (Sean) since he's close enough to pick up from, but the fish I bought are really healthy and the price was good. I don't know what the shipping would be like.

Make sure you find out what you have now before ordering more fish. You wouldn't want to get the wrong fish for your current mix.

Thanks again you guys! I feel more at home now. Although I luv these fish (the cichlids), I am a sucker for so many other things just because they're cute or pretty.

However, these Cichlids have personality that I've never seen, not that I've seen that much.

I have been bugging my husband for kittens for a while (which I think we'll get for Christmas) and if it was totally up to me, I'd have a lizard, a snake, a newt, frogs...you name it. I love life! I'm a plant lover too!
