I need to pick up some females, the ones in my lps from the tank I got my 2 have yellow markings on there fins. Is that enough to be sure if they are female?

When you say yellow markings do you mean what is commonly called as "egg spots"? If so, egg spots generally indicate a male, not a female. They are not definative either. A female will very often have egg spots just like a male. Males egg spots are usually found in greater concentration and smaller numbers than those of a female. Some fish like a M. esthare (red zebra) are easy to sex based on their egg spots, but others can be very difficult. Maybe someone knows how effective this marker is when dealing with P. elongatus.

No not the egg spots, but yellow highlights on their dorsal fin, and tai.

elongatus do have yellow highlights on the dorsal along the tips and also next to the spine. They will also have a faint yellow line along the tip of the tail. But, just like domasoni(?) I think I spelled that right, both the male and feamles are very similar and very hard to tell the diff. I THINK!!!
