anyone please tell me what either of these fish are? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Halsa

sorry, i can't i.d. your fish; you may have to wait 'til they're a little older. the first one looks like it might be from the lake victoris basin, and the second one is from lake malawi. it's hard to tell from the photo...does the second one have a black line at the top and bottom of the caudal/tail fin?

the yellow one is starting to get black markings in it just like my powder blue cichlid has except they are not as dark yet.

I don't think your yellow fish is a yellow lab....

The other looks like a Malawi Hap, possible a Placidochromis milomo....but not 100% on this...

Come to think about it, the yellow fish could be a female or young male Melanochromis johannii.
