I was reminded of this by SGypsyMermaid's post in the lounge about a pH of 8.2 being good for most of the African Cichlids:
I personally maintain [i:dbf5c6c2a7]my[/i:dbf5c6c2a7] pH at a precise 8.21976458, but I have [i:dbf5c6c2a7]heard[/i:dbf5c6c2a7] that it can be difficult to read the silly little charts and determine what color the little vial really is :). Does anyone here actually have precise enough control over their pH to say that it is "eight-point-two"? If so, how do you manage to test it so accurately? I hate the bloody color charts!
