Hi, Heres my situation. Ive had this tank on a desk for a yr now..the desk its self is old and warped(from storage for yrs).
I know not the best stand to have used, but the tank does sit level. I placed a 1/2 foam piece underneath the tank when I set it up..
The desk is sagging in the middle (a bit) havent noticed any more difference since the tank has been on it..
but im wondering with the water now in the tank and it has time to settle, not noticing that it now would have pressure points of possible breakage.
So taking the water out moving the tank to a level stand and adding the water again, would this pop the tank..Have heard horror stories!!
Should I resilicone to be sure! leave it for a few days witht no water?..
what is best,,Has anyone ever had to move a tank only to find themselves with no tank, but could have prevented it in some way.
My new stand is going to be of solid oak, flat surface top, maybe only 1/4 inch bigger than tank size. so it will sit on all corners of the stand for level support( not like this one)..
tks to anyone who has a few ideas for me...

sue..

there shouldn't be any problem as long as you completely empty the tank before you move it, and are careful when you move it. always hold the bottom corners of the tank...don't hold it by the top corners or the sides.
