OK have a 55gal going. Almost done with cycling, have 6 danios in it(1 zebra 2 zebralongfin 3 leaopardlongfin) I was looking at "assorated african cichlids" they are bueatiful and i want some. How many would fit?? Also could I put 'electric blues' or 'yellow labs' in???

if you're just starting out, you should go with a group of about 15. but you should do some reading on these fish first. start reading in the malawi, african tank, and african cichlids forums on this board. you'll get a lot of info about compatibility, dietary requirements, etc.
