Gouramis

I have 1 neon blue gourami in my tank. It is peaceful towards all my other fish, but high aggressive towards my australian rainbow. Is it normal for these fish to be agressive? I know they like a lot of surface space, but my rainbow is a mid-level bottom dweller and the gourami often seeks it out for no reason.

While at the same time my Blue Ram will seek out the gourami.

some fish just have it in for each other for no good reason. i once had a 3 spot gourami(lavender version) that was hell on wheels in my community tank. i let him have a little vacation in one of my mbuna tanks, then returned him to the community tank--his new attitude was amazingly different.:twisted:
