These are pictures from my 29 gallon setup with Maylandia Estherae "Red zebra" & Cynotilapia Afra "Jalo Reef". This is a smaller setup, but everyone gets along fairly well. The Red zebras have been breeding quite frequently, and the Jalo reef are getting ready to. Assuming I have a female from the group of 12. I like the color contrasts of the two Mbuna types, what do you guys think?

This is my big male Red zebra

Thanks, I have 4 males that are coloring up now. Two that hold territories and color up regularly. Alot of digging going on, maybe they are getting of breeding size.

That would be awsome. Have you Red Zebras had some babies yet?

Oh yea, I have a female that is holding now that is due for stripping soon. She is at 17 days and must have 20-30 some fry, she has a large mouthful and she is the biggest of the females. I had a female that died that was breeding non-stop. I still have 10 or so 2"-3" Red zebras from her.
