So I remember reading that Synodontis Multiplicatus like to 'borrow' their female Cichlid friends when breeding. I thought I saw one of the Multi's dancing around with the two Cichlids when they started to spawn last week. Well - she was holding ... and when I took a look at her eggs ... out popped 6 eggs that didn't look like the previous she had. These little guys have a long 'spine' already ... even with the egg sack. Here's a pix, not that good - but you might be able to see. Also below, is a live FishCam view into that breeding tank. :) Do you think they're really baby Synos?
