She was a very Very bright orange and now she is very pale orange she is eating fin swimming fin and looks healthy other then her very faded color any suggestion to why she is so pale?

Try brine shrimp and krill as food supplements. I read an article saying that baby leleupi need bbs to develop their bright orange coloration and certainly mine never did without them.

I also read that brine shrimp will help. My leleupi turned brown - he was eating cichlid pellets and flake food. We introduced the brine shrimp and slowly but surely the color has been coming back. Today, he really looks yellow!

Hi

Thanks guys:) I will try the brine shrimp. And let you know how it work! I went and got some today. She is such a pretty little thing when she is all bright orange. I hope this works.

Feeding your Leleupi food containing carotene will help. Also, what color substrate do you have? Dark color substrates tend to make their color drab or darken over a period of time. Is there any other fish terrorizing this one? Stress also causes them to not be as vibrant. Good luck!
