looking for 55 gal + in TEXAS?? Louisiana??

Since the price of shipping tanks is still outrageous..

looking for someone nearby ...I live in Houston Texas..will be willing to drive if the price is right...reasonable...If I can buy it for your asking price in the store new...then it is not reasonable..

would like at least a 55 gallon ..but bigger is always better...would REALLY like to have a stand and either canopy or tank hoods...

I will keep my eyes open on my side of town and let you know if I see anything. I beleive there was a flyer in my LFS for a 75 gallon with everything for like $250, but I'm not sure. I bought a used 55 w/ stand, light, and filter for $100 last year, but I knew the person selling it.


I may have another solution to your dilemna. I will be ordering several tanks from glasscages.com before Christmas. They said they would deliver them here themselves for a large order of tanks. My understanding is that they will not charge freight, as they deliver tanks up and down the east coast to shows all the time. This has yet to be seen. The current order will consist of a 240 g, 4- 90 g, a 65 g, and maybe a 125 wide. If you would like to order a tank along with us and pick it up from me in Baytown, I would have no problem arranging this. thanks anyways chet about the 75 gal... I will look at the link in a bit and let you know...I have to contact my financial advisor and money holder (my husband..hee hee) and see up to how much gallon wise and money wise I can spend...I will let ya know...

actually wanted to try used because budgeting...but my husband pushes for new...I figure, get the best deals you can ....
