Is this a Red Terror?

Hi I was wondering if anybody can tell me if this is a Red Terror? I picked the fish up from an adoption tank. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. Someone told me it could be a flower horn, but it didnt look like one to me. I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks for the information. After looking at several pictures of Flower Horns and Amphilophus trimaculatus I came to the conclusion that it is a Amphilophus trimaculatus. I found a picture that looks identical to it. Thanks

Yes it is a male Flower Horn. Nice fish you have there, My frend has one. How big is he? What size tank is he in? Do you know much about them?

Unless you have super powers, you cannot tell weather that fish is a Trimac or Flower horn.

If I was to take a guess I would think it was probably a Trimac. But I would not breed the fish with another Trimac and sell the fry as Trimacs.

Im not sure if that is either a flowerhorn or a trimac, but it is defintely not a red terror.

I didnt see the 2nd pic so now i take back what i said.
I have to say thats a Low grade flowerhorn or as some of us say a "TrimacHorn" and its also a female.

Same damn thing happened to me, when I got back into the hobby. I bought what the lfs said was a red terror and after looking at pics and posting some pics on another forum, I found out it was a flowerhorn.

Then I went to yet another lfs with a bunch of juvi red terrors in the tank, I bought one guess what...... trimac, or FH can't realy tell I say trimac because of the pale yellowish face mine has.

The trimac i have now is pritty big...and wass sold to me under a flowerhorn..But it cant be a flowerhorn..its to ugly.. :( ..(that dosnt mean really everything..but..)..u know..you see these flowerhorns sold in local fish stores at 5 bucks..yea rite..when they have them on flowerhorn sites(the real ones)..for like..hundreds to even somtimes thousands....but anyways..nice fish ...how big is he?..
