Out of all my fish in the tank my Astatotilapia latifasciata female has never been scared of me its like she is asking to be catched. During rock changes she is always in the way along with her sister that passed last week. But when I would play with them they would always nibble at myfinger tips, all others stay away. Today while messing with my fake plants she bit the inside of my elbow when my hand was at the bottom. Feisty biotch broke blood for the first time. lol I can hardly see her teeth but I can definitely see my mark. I don't no why but I'm proud of her.:split:

Or is that a bad thing and she is super stressed.

They have a real outgoing personality and are always the first and last to leave the feeding area, they sure like their food. I have 9 of them and the they don't seem to care much about the other tankmates, but always squabble amongst their own kind and have a pecking order that is always played out. Come to think of it I have been nipped by one aswell, a bit suprising but funny when it happens

I absolutely hate it, not because it hurts or draws a little blood, but because no matter how long it's been done to me, it's always a sneak attach and still catches me off guard. I find myself jumping everytime and it's usually when I'm picking up a Big Rock. LOL Well you know what happen next "Ka-Plunk"...@#$%!..Damn Acei are suppose to be Nice to all including my Fleshy Tricep.

I remember the Story from Larry on Chat Night telling us how he was Bit by a Drove of Little Vics and had to make a run/swim for the Boat. LOL Can you say Wet Suit or in our case Wet Suit Sleeve. Talk about Bitting The Hand That Feeds!
