What are the water parameters that you are keeping the Paratilapia in (Is it Bleekiri (sp)?).
It's beautiful & I have been longing for one.
I saw one at my LFS & it was in a tank with Tanganyikans.
The owner told me they need a high PH & although I want one I'm not ready to set up a separate tank for it.

Paratilapia in (Is it Bleekiri (sp)?).

They have actually been re-classed to Paratilipia "Large spot" and Small Spot (polleni).

Water parimeters are not much of an issue with my experience. I have kept them with rift lake africans, and also with neotropicals in soft water. They are very adaptable and i really can't tell you which they liked better. i never had problems with either.

unfortunately my male died suddenly for some unknown reason over the holidays though. Really to bad as he was one of my favorites.
