Funny Frontosa

I have been spoiling my fish and chopping up raw shrimp for them in the last week. They love it.

My alpha 5 inch burundi frontosa has really taken a liking to the tale of the shrimp. For the entire weekend he has been carrying it around in his mouth like a toy. He spits it out occasisionaly and others will try to get it. He bullies them away from the tale and will pick it up again. It is really bizarre. He almost looks like he is tanting the other fish. This morning I went downstairs before work to find the front sleeping by a piece of slate witht he shrimp laying beside him. :o

Now who was it that said Burundis have little personality?

I think you should keep a close eye on that front. If he hangs onto that piece of tail too long, he's bound to regret it.
