they are about 1.5 inch
perhaps too small to take vegie??
Why don't you try spirulina and vegatable flakes to get them used to the taste. Your fish might be just picky. What kinds of fish do you have?
Another trick is to starve them for a couple of days and they will eat anything.

They are red zebra, a livingstoni, and i don't know the remaining one.

Are you blanching them? The vegetables have to be blanched with hot water or frozen for several hours in the freezer before you use them. It breaks down the cellulose in the plants so they can digest them. I use romaine lettuce and zuchinni.
Or you could just buy spirulina flakes. Or you could add hornwort to the tank. My Africans love to eat it.

I like Ad Konigs Cichlid Formula (frozen cubes) for veggie suppliments. There are also dried algae packages that you can feed to your fish in a feeding clip (brand name escapes me right now, but will get back to you with it), or spirulina flakes/pellets/waiffers. Aquadine, Hikari and Sera all put out good products that are low in lipid content. My fish gobble it right up.
