I am not unfamiliar with breeding. That being siad, I also have never INTENTIONALLY put together a breeding group. I have a chance to buy a batch of fish that I would really like to breed. The price is right, but they are related (same parents), and I realize that I have no idea if it is ok to breed related fish! Any help would be apreciated.

it is usually ok... usually. once you start going down generation after generation of siblings breeding then you usually end up with bad genetics and ugly fish. if the parents all look healthy and have nice color for their species then i say go for it!
