I Have A 29 Gallon Tank and was wondering if i could have a breeding pair of convicts and pictus catfish?

Yep. Pictus cats should be fine. They will try to and may succeed at eating the fry. But like, what else would you do with them considering they are so common most Pet Shops won't take them and you will have tons. Convicts breed like rabbits.

They do best in groups. I would try 3 to start.
