I JUST GOT MY 125G TANK. ONCE I GOT IT I ADDED SAND (WHICH I WASHED OUT) AND ONE PIECE OF BLUE CORAL (FOR A HIGHER PH) SINCE THEN THE TANK HAS GOTTEN REALLY CLOUDY. IT CLEARED UP FOR ABOUT A DAY AND IS NOW GOING BACK TO CLOUDY. I DID ONE WATER CHANGE ALREADY. AND MY PH IS FINE AS WELL AS MY NITRATE BUT MY AMMONIA IS STARTING TO RISE. ALL ROCK WORK AND PLANTS (FAKE) ARE FROM MY OLD TANK. I HAVE 2 AIR LINES AND A RENA XP3 WHICH THEY SAY IS GOOD FOR UP TO 200 GALLONS. I ADDED AMMONIA BLOCKER TO THE FILTER BUT NOTHINGS WORKING. PLEASE HELP!

It's a bacteria bloom. Your new tank doesn't have the bacteria necessary to process things like ammonia. The clouds are probably an exploding population of bacteria from the things you took out of your old tank. They will multiply until there is no more food and then they will die back. Eventually, the tank shoudl settle into an equilibrium where you have enough bacteria colonies in your filters and on the tank surfaces to metabolize the waste. I hope you don't have fish in there yet.

thanks, and the tank has cleared up. The fish are happy and so am I.
