i have 1 african in a 20 gallon tank and i am going to be going home for 5 weeks (college student). i was thinking that i would just leave 25% of the water in his tank, take out all the decorations, put them in a bucket of his own tank water along with the bio-wheel from the filter, and then truck everything about 2 hours away. whew!!! would that work and be the least stress for my fish? or should i bag him up and take the tank seperately. i am just worried about his oxygen level and i thought that if he was in his tank for the trip that would give him enough surface area to breath. anybody got any advice?
