I was wondering how many convicts could I put in a 29 g, is there any suckers I could put in

That depends. If you have a pair (Male and Female) then I wouldn't add anymore convicts. If you had males, I would only keep 2. If you had females, you might try keeping several in there (3-4). Be sure to keep a group of "Dither Fish" in the tank to lessen aggression. Giant Danios should work well for this tank.

If by "suckers" you are reffering to sucker mouth fish, then yes there are. Chinese algae eater are common and don't grow real large (5" ?). There are many dwarf plecos that only reach 4-5" also. These would be great tank mates for Convicts.
