Hi!
My P.neyereri seems to be too frisky for the tangs in my hodge podge mixed tank. I like the guy, but my frontosa doesn't eat when he is around (and guess what, he IS around when there is food). I have a bitter option of letting him or frontosa go, or moving the vic to my all mbuna 125g. Will it work? I have there yellow labs, afras, rustys, acei and demasoni (mild bunch, really).
Please hepl to decide? :)
Thanks,
Val

I have a P. Nyererei and a Ruby Green in my all male hap/peacock tank. They both get along great with all the haps and peacocks so far. So I would guess that P. Nyererei should work with mbuna.

Thanks!!
Oh sure, not only it gets along, he kind of runs the place. And while my lelelupi and calvus couldn't care less, the front seems to care a lot. I also have there Malawi haps, no problem with them. The front is too slow for him.

I have Vics in my Malawi tank and they get along pretty good. My biggest Vic is clearly "the boss" of the tank though. He doesn't harm the others but very occasionally I see them matching up mouths.:duel: And that's usually with another Vic. Overall it's a very active and beautiful community. Give it a shot. I know you're experianced enough to make changes if you see abnormal aggression. Good Luck!!:ok:
