take a look at this malawian--the body shape is quite unusual(i think) for a malawian, and especially for what i've come to expect from a mylochromis

It looks to be one of what they call the trout cichlid, or at least in that general area. They are long and slinder. Mabey you know a better word for them then "trout cichlid". :?

maybe you are thinking of 'pike cichlid'--they have long slender bodies, also. see below:

Oh well, looks pretty anyway. Yeah now I know what your gonna say, "He's just another one of those superficial guys who can't get past the looks". :wink: Well, who's to say that it's not a female with a great personality?
