this guy is abusing convict cichlids,the fish in the picture are all in a 29 gallon :cry: http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Haven/2615/fish1.html

He's not really abuseing them. They all seem in good health and there seems to be little aggression. They are all on the small side for captive convicts, and they all seem to have anough room. The Aggression is kept low by keeping them in numbers. Keeping American cichlids isn't a science, and what works for one person may nto work for another, so i wouldn't try this. If he took all the convicts out except for 4, they would kill each other.

I think you hit that one right on the head.

I think keeping the clown loaches in such a short tank is more of problem though. I used to keep mine in a 29g community set up and all they did was hide. Then when I put them in my 125g mbuna they were active in the open all the time.
