I went back to get a white calvus

The lady who took my jags had some white calvus she said I could have the last one if I came back. It was her last one.

I went tonight and got it. (surprising heh) It is about an inch long and 7 months old. Man do these things grow slow. Oh well

My original problem with calvus was every time I changed the water it would cause shock and they would die on me. I have heard tangs are more sensitive to frequent water changes. Any truth to this??

in my experience, they are not bothered by frequent water changes, but they are are sensitive to large water changes. i have found that once i increase the frequency of the water changes, then i can make larger water changes with no problems. in other words, you can't do a fifty percent water change every two weeks, but if you change the water every week, then it works.
