:?: Hi, I was wondering how many convict can ya put in a 29g tank and what you recommend :?:

If you get rid of the oscar I'd recommend a pair. If you're keeping the oscar I'd recommend none. You'll need a much bigger tank within 6 months for the oscar. Pleco's will get huge too, but not nearly as fast as an oscar. I think a 75g would let you keep the oscar, 2 plecos and maybe 2 convicts.

Why not get a 55(75 is better) for oscar and keep the old 29 for a pair of convicts? They'll start breeding and you can use the fry for feeders.
The reason I say a pair in a 29 is they get very territorial when spawning.

Oh, I remember those days. :( You're still going to have to do something with the oscar. They can get over a foot long in about a year. If anyone ever came up with dwarf oscars they'd make a fortune. :)

Not unless you can keep the pond in the upper 70's all year. :(
I figured you two might be kin to one another. :)
