im expecting to recieve 10-15 yssichromis piecatus this week.
i have been able to find out that they are a schooling fish, and are rarly seen in the rocky areas of the lake and the nilie perch has all but wiped them out there, however that they have been seen in other parts of the lake with depleated o2 that doesnt support the perch. also that they are a zooplanktivore picking small insects from aguatic plants. i also understand that they are rarly seen here in the us.
has any one here kept them or is keeping them? maybe with some more info? any thing will help.

Yssichromis piceatus

Note spelling if you want to do a google search. Very cool. I thought they were just a tiny little silver fish. Where did you find this little gem?
