I'm new on this site, please be gentle!

I'm setting up a new 60gal for my Oscar & Plec. I'll be left with a lovely 25gal & I was thinking of some convicts.

Will this tank be suitable?

I'm open to offers on other cichlids which are fun to watch, which would be happy in a 25gal.....

you could kepp a single convict in a 25 and probly a pair. some other choices you have are neets, rams, firemouhs, and a few more i think.

I keep a pair in a 29g, they used to be in a 10g and never have had problems with aggression, just too many babies.

BTW, I'll assume that's 25 UK gallons which is closer to a 29g in the US.

Welcome Son of Olaf! :)
I don't see any problems with a pair of cons or firemouths.. I kept a happy pair of cons in my 29 also, and had the same result as jonah-- babies up the wazoo! :ok:
