I noticed couple days ago i have 1 holding. I went and got a breeding net that sits at the top of tank its only like 6" x 5" or so kinda small in my opinion. So do i need to place her in this so she can have them in it and if so when now? or later closer to time that she might spit them out? One thing i noticed she is jiggling again but past couple days she would do nothing but hide. My other concern was since it sits at top do i need to turn that side of my tank the lights off or does it not matter?

What is it? What kind of fish? Do you know when she spawned? Is she a young fish?
Most fish will hold for about 4 weeks give or take. When it gets close to term, you will see lots of little eyes peeking out of her throat and mouth. You can wait until you see eyes, catch her, and put her in the net until she spits. The best way to catch her is usually to turn all the lights off in the tank room, wait about 30min for her to go to sleep, and then catch her before she wakes up. If she's young, she may eat her eggs a time or two or even three before getting the process down. So long as she's not being harassed by any other fish, she should be all right to hold to term, but if others are harassing her, you may want to look at isolating her earlier than I mentioned above so she conserves her energy and reserves.

Its an african cichlid not sure of the exact name but she gets chased by my male bumble bee alot but when i said she is jiggling that is when she is next to one of the males that is exactly like her. All my fish are about 3" but the bee is atleast 5" and i got them all around same time he just grew like no other. In mean time il look through the gallerys to see if i can get an exact name of her.

well from the looks of it i think she is a pseudotropheus sp. "Blueberry" but the pic is kinda blurry she is brown with black spots just like the pic and she has like a blue sheen to her and the other 3 which i assume are males all look like that just the spots are lighter than hers.

I would do what A.Harris suggested, unless she didn't breed with her own kind if she has hybrids I would just let her spit in the tank.

she only jiggles with her own kind my bumble bee was trying to get her but she just swims away so im guessing it is going to be same.
