I woke up this morning to my 20 that has corys in it is leaking!!!
It housed 5 skunks 4 spotted and 2 juli cory's and spotted high fin plecos. I would like to set this up as a cory breeding tank can all of you give some suggestions on substrate? I have smooth black gravel now but maybe changr? It has a Penguin 170 for filtration. Sand I just dont know. Please help

you said its leaking? get your fish out of that thing and buy a new 20.

Why when I can reseal it and it will be as good as new?

As long as the substrate is smooth it shouldn't matter what kind you use.

use sand for corys, thier barbels are very sensetive and they probobly wont breed with crinic broblems caused by gravel injuries.

........... I agree with Dr. J........ not worth the trouble....... just buy a new one now, and you won't have to recycle the tank........ 20's are pretty cheap, and any repair work is generally not as good as the first time around........

Shoot, get a 29 and add some top water fish!
