So my Jack Dempsey laid eggs a several days ago. They're obviously not fertilised since I don't have a male JD in there and they started to go white. At the moment all of the eggs are white, and there are several giant blobs of whitish fungus about 1cm in diameter all over the spawn site. I thought Jack Dempsey was supposed to eat the eggs when they go bad? Should I remove all of the eggs myself, or wait it out? If she doesn't eat the bad eggs, will the fungus spread to other parts of my tank and is this bad for my water etc. ?
Thanks for any replies :)
