After some serious problems with the air line, I have my fish.

My prizes are

A pair of 4", Wild, Zaliosum

2 pairs of 4" female and 7" male Striped Midas

A pair of 4" Wild Labiatus

A 5" male Synspilum

6 Tuba
10 Irregularis
10 Astatheros altifrons
10 Astatheros nourissati
10 Astatheros rostratus
10 Regani
10 Zonatus
10 Bleekeri


All the fish are doing great. The Midas are From Rio San Jaun, Costa Rica and are the "Thick Lipped Variante". These are very cool. I have never seen a Thick Lipped midas.

What are you housing them in Rex?

1 pair of Striped Midas are in a 125g

1 Pair of Striped Midas are in a 500g cichlid community

the Zaliosum are in a 55g

the Labiatus, Synspilum, Tuba, and Zonatum are also in the 500g

The Altifrons, Rostratus, and Nourissati are in a 125g, and the Regani, Bleekeri, and Irregularis are in a 55g


The fish on Aquabid looks like a Labiatus not Citrinellus.

Thats great actually as I was going to take a couple days when I am done work to take the fairy over to Victoria with my wife.

That's great news Rex! Glad to hear your fish arrived ok. Do they look as good as you had hoped? Please, please figure out a way to get some pics for us! We've just got to see your collection!
