I am going to add one of these shellies to my tank. What are the differences/similiarities of the 2? Do they both have blue eyes? I have looked at pictures on the internet and they look identical except in some of the pictures they have blue eyes and some they don't. Also once I pick one or the other will they work in 2 pairs or am I better off with more or less? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Both multies and similis form colonies meaning that you can have several adults of both genders and all the fry living together in one shell bed. Two pairs should be fine unless you have one that the others really don't like.
