The minority vote was on track: Know how a balloon vibrates when you hold it up to your lips and speak?

Bonus questions:

[quote:5f2bda32a3] [b:5f2bda32a3]Bonus Q1: [/b:5f2bda32a3] Thinking about catfish and feeding strategies (the October Quiz) reminded me of a cichlid which is specially adapted to feed on parasites that feed on catfish (something like a cleaner wrasse)! Which cichid is it?[/quote:5f2bda32a3]
Lots of you got this one. Here's Rick Borstein's summary of Ad Koning's "Malawian Cichlids in the Natural Environment":

[quote:5f2bda32a3]Psedotropheus crabro inhabits caves that are also home to a very large catfish with which it shares a pseduo-symbiotic relationship. While in the gold and black barred configuration, this large catfish tolerates Psedotropheus crabro which picks parasites from the skin of the catfish.
Interestingly, the catfish are also cave spawners, exuding thousands of eggs which make a tasty snack for Psedotropheus crabro. http://www.gcca.net/fom/Pseudotropheus_crabro.htm [/quote:5f2bda32a3]

[quote:5f2bda32a3] [b:5f2bda32a3]Bonus Q2: [/b:5f2bda32a3]Which cichlid was the first ever to be spawned in captivity?[/quote:5f2bda32a3]
No one got the answer, although I think you'll find it in last month's TFH.

According to Ad Konings, the first cichlid maintained as an aquarium specimen (1894), and the first spawned in captivity (1895), was Nandopsis facetum, the [b:5f2bda32a3]Chanchito[/b:5f2bda32a3] http://www.aquamojo.com/misc/Facetum2.jpg. (Not sure if Ad confirmed this claim with the appropriate South American indigenous peoples!)

Hey! Help me with this feature. Send me some interesting info.
