~I have the head of the Spring Creek Coalition interested in sharing with the club. They have fought and won a long battle to keep trout out of the creek to protect the native fishes. There is a new threat to the Creek where a local water company is taking water from the creek and it threatens its "Pristine" condition ranking.

Let the Native Fish and Killi fish people know that we can probably work out a collection trip on her private property to collect darters, shiners, killis etc in exchange for helping to educate the public and build interest in Spring Creek. I will be partnering with her to help with the web site for the group. See y'all Saturday!

We had a blast this last weekend! The "behind the scenes" tour was interesting and informative. There was an incredible amount of aquatic plants and some super cool Cichlids available at the club auction as well.

Pretty day for a walk in the Zoo
