Does anyone know of a dealer of inexpensive shells for Shell Dwellers?

Check the internet. There are a couple of sites that sell shells. I forget which type people talk about using (turbo snail?), but I know they come in two varieties: gold and silver lipped.

You can also edible snail shells. Sometiems you can check with restaurants that serve escargot and get some old shells from them that would otherwise go in the trash. You have to clean those out, but they are cheap.

I have ordered from shell horizons and had good luck with them. I got about 20lbs of shells a few months back

I bought mine from the crafts section at Walmart. I got about 6-7 good, usable shells for around $3.

I picked up some huge ones this summer while snorkeling in so cal
they were allready empty just laying there on the ocean floor. perfect
